Angel Program

TEDxPetalingStreet believes that every student is like a seed of boundless potential. We are committed to enabling each of them to first realise the diversity of paths that exist, so they can begin to explore what they want to become—the best version of themselves. Over the years, the Angel Program has been privileged to bring together generous supporters from all walks of life. Every contribution has been transformed into tickets for students to attend the annual conference—taking them beyond the classroom to witness greater heights beyond those we have known. They may choose not to explore further—but we want them to know this: life is a vast wilderness, wide and boundless, where every direction holds an answer waiting to be discovered.

Some opportunities can only be found outside the classroom. We hope to take you to places less familiar, and to stories yet unheard, so you may discover the many paths open to you. 2025年《乘風破浪》：李皓恩

Thanks to Honey Chan and all the sponsors 💗My name is Tam Li Yu, and I’m a seventeen-year-old from Kluang Chong Hwa. It is a great honor to attend the 10th anniversary of TEDxPetalingStreet. This is my first time at this event, and it feels like a completely new experience for me. The content of the talks has been truly inspiring for my own life. The string quintet performance in the middle also surprised me. I was amazed to hear such beautiful music at an event focused on sharing ideas, which broadened my perspective on what this event could offer. Last but not least, would like to thank all the sponsors once again for making it possible for students like us to have this valuable experience.💕

2025年《乘風破浪》：Toh Shu Ying

今年很荣幸又可以当 Angel Student ，每次都很感激 TEDxPetalingStreet 给予的机会，让学生也能开眼界。今年《乘风破浪》的主题，真的让我听到了每个分享者自己乘风破浪的经历，每一个都让我惊艳。让我印象比较深刻的是，让我们可以与万年前有链接的 “古生命学”、孕育出作家黎紫书的李继华老师、人人人鼓剧场震撼的本土音乐、本土风味发酵艺术家 Connie Chew、无敌敬佩的极地超马铁人Jeff Lau、DJ Point 那个 HIGH 翻全场的 DJ 哲学，他们的分享真的深入我心，让我知道马来西亚人也很强大，很喜欢他们的分享，也很佩服他们的毅力。

2023年《衡》：CHHS Kluang - 宏宇

我是宏宇,17 岁,来自居銮中华中学。我想要感谢赞助商 CODE S SDN. BHD.,感谢它们的支持,给我一个机会可以来增进自己的视野,扩充自己的知识盲区,也借此可以了解先进青年或者是有志者的发展情况。这是一个很棒的企划,无论是给予大众或学生,我希望我们的感谢可以清楚被赞助商们所看到,让他们知道,他们的付出是极具意义的。最后,我希望我的学弟学妹们也有这样的机会,见一见这广阔的世界。

2022年《啟》Pay Fong - 侯科妤这次是⾮常难得的机会，有幸可以参加那么深⼊⼈⼼的讲座，听到那么多讲者的分享，这次的经验授予了我许多知识，其中有把⾹料形容得最有⽣动的陈爱玲讲师，授予我们⾦融知识的丹斯⾥沈联涛讲师，最有创意的⻩诗韵⼥⼠，最感动⼈⼼的合唱，以及我最喜爱的许国伟评论员，他的演讲有如脱⼝秀，还引⼈深思。⾮常感谢这次的赞助者，让我有机会在闲暇时参与如此有意义的活动，圆满我的⾼⼆⽣涯。希望下次还会有这样幽默有趣好玩⼜能学到东西的活动！

2024年《躍》：JSIHS - 伍忻仪

我是来自日新独中的伍忻仪 , 十分感谢获得伟事达总裁班 VEE62 的赞助来到了TEDxPetalingStreet 讲座。此次讲座给我带来完全不一样的体验,与以往接触到煎熬及乏味的讲座不同,TEDxPetalingStreet 让我在九个小时内接触到许多讲者的故事及想法,并且不会因为⻓时间的讲座而感到不耐烦。TEDxPetalingStreet 的讲者们都给我带来许多我没思考过的观点,他们每一位的精神是让我佩服且追随的。除了讲者的精彩分享,我也十分佩服 TEDxPetalingStreet 的整个团队,在短短的一天内我发现每一位志工都抱着极大的热情及认真的态度对待这整个活动,使这次的活动如此顺利且精彩。我坚信在这依旧看不清的未来里,我还会以听众或大胆一点假设,以志工的身份参与此项活动。
