Wu Ting An (T.A. Wu) is the Managing Director of Spring Pool Glass and the founder of W Glass Project in Taiwan. Wu spent his childhood in a glass recycling factory, before completing his degree in Resource Engineering at the National Cheng Kung
University; he also did a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management at the University of Cambridge. After returning to Taiwan, Wu took over the family glass recycling business. He started W Glass Project in 2017 as a collaborative platform to create innovative glass products from the combined expertise of designers and glass artisans using recycled glass from Spring Pool. Some of the products include glass straw, beer mugs, and the award-winning FLOAT non-straw glass cup for bubble tea.
