Dr. Lim Meng Hui is the co-founder and CEO of SmartPeep, a med-tech company that develops a patient monitoring system using artificial intelligence (AI). Dr. Lim has experience in conducting research in multimodal biometric recognition and pattern recognition, while also taught web AI, during his stint as a research assistant professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University. He started SmartPeep with his team to reduce the number and impact of falls in hospitals/elderly homes by developing an AI camera monitoring system, which can inform nurses and caregivers when high fall-risk patients get out of bed without assistance.
