While his travel to Syria and Afghanistan to cover on the conflicts news reporting three times respectively, he then started a new stage of life after a conversation with an Afghan old man he met en-route.

2. Tin Fong Yun
Zero Waste Practitioner

Tin Fong Yun is an author, Columnist and Feature Journalist. She is the former Intern in The Nature Conservancy Beijing office, working on Fresh Water Programme in China. After her return from abroad, she worked as newspaper Feature Journalist, focusing on environmental reporting. When dealing with enormous environmental problems, she’s always trying to find the easiest solution that everyone can be part of. Inspired by an American family, Fong Yun started her Zero Trash Project in 2016, finding alternatives for every trash in her daily life. So far, the amount of trash that she and her husband have produced only about the volume of 500ml glass jar.

3. Jayz Yong

Jayz Yong loves photography due to his great interest in drawing during childhood and he has his compact digital camera with him at his young age. He was once a first aid instructor, meanwhile, he worked in several companies as a marketing position. In year 2010, he founded the photography company, Centre of Picture Creation Sdn Bhd. At the wedding photo session, he was amazed of the genuine feeling that one could have when embraced by simple, joyfulness and happiness. This genuine feeling exposure is the goal that he pursues in photography. Thus, “ To tell your own timeless story that is truly yours ” has become Picture Creation’s core value , principal and belief. In year 2015, Endless Smile project was activated and he go into small town to seize the happiness moment of others via free photo-taking, to spread happiness around, and keep smiling.
