Ultramarathon runner
Began running barefoot in the age of 19, his run age has been 35 years. In March 2013, Ng Seow Kong was the first Malaysian to complete the 100 marathons in Malaysia. He is also the first to complete 100 miles (160 km) marathon and completed more than 200 km marathon in India, Australia, Japan, America, South Korea and Britain. In year 2008, he became the first Asian runner to accomplish the world’s major marathon (including seven continents with Arctic). Being the only Malaysian runner who accomplished the North Pole Marathon and Antarctic Ice Marathon, he has also completed 71 full marathon and 61 ultra-marathon in 66 cities in 33 countries. With his experience in the variety of complex running track, drastic weather conditions and high altitude marathon, has gained the fame for Malaysia in ultra-marathon.
