Deputy Curator of Oriental Art and Cultural Association
Born in Kuala Lumpur in the year of 1974, Dr. Koh Doh Tat endeavours in advocating on aesthetics and museum works. As a graduate in Chinese studies from Nanjing University, he holds the Doctorate in Aesthetics & Cultural Studies and the Master of Arts Theory in Nanjing Institue of Arts. In the past, he organised various arts and cultural activities, for instance, Kuala Lumpur Cultural Avenue project, conservation & preservation workshop and exhibition, creative arts industries workshop, rhythm of Nanyang-guqin exhibition and arts gallery trip, etc. Currently, he is the founder of YYG Studio. He lectures classes in regards of Aesthetics studies and Arts history nationwide, meanwhile propelling the concept of museum administration, arts martketing and cultural strategies and management. He believes in beauty as that is the part and parcel of our contemporary daily life.
